    Cohesion

Woke up late for camp today.
Luckily I was quick with all the usual stuff. Kinda rushed through the whole process.
Brush teeth, bathe, poop. Eh. no. I didn't poop. haha

Today's kinda different from a normal day.

    Ok.

    Very different.

The difference was we had cohesion.

Cohesion happens once every few months. Its a get together of army personnel through an activity suggested by the heads.

And this cohesion, we went bowling!

We left camp after lunch in a chartered bus to Safra, Tampines.

An entourage. About 60 people attended the event. Some jokers took mc, some m.i.a. bunch of losers for those who fake just to avoid attending. boo.

Waited a while, played a game of pool, collected our shoes and we were off!

    There were incentives.
The highest bowler gets a day off.
The winning team also gets a day off.
The person with a turkey also gets a day off.

    They do love day offs.
    Cause day offs rocks.

However, all those only applied to the first out of two games. Sigh.

I almost had a turkey! two strikes. than my friend went ohhhh.. come on. day off!

    Than i missed. =x
    DAMN!
    So close!
    But yet so far.

    Sighhhh...

I got a total score of 149 for the first game and 94 for the second. Worlds apart ain't it. No idea what happened. Just didn't get the strikes and spares I got in the first.

    Oh wells.

After our games, there was some prize presentation and we could go off.

Since it was laopo's first day of work, I decided to go surprise her at her work place.
    Moral support see. ahaha
Her first day of work didn't have the contents of a lonely train ride back. x)

I reached raffles half an hour early. 1730. 5.30pm. On the dot.
Since it was still early, I walked around first looking at what shops they had. Never really been to raffles place to walk around. But it has nothing whatsoever. Boringggg.

Close to 6, I made my way to the office entrance.

    She wasn't out yet.

    Wait.

    Wait.

    Wait.

    Wuahahaha.

    Wait.

    Hahahaha!

    Wait.

    She still couldn't leave.

    So sad.

She finally got out at 630 and she was kinda shocked and surprised to see me there. heh.
    Surprise! hehe

We took the train back to her place, ate dinner, watched some tv and finally left for home.
Thats the end of my day.

And Friday was an off. Brilliant.
    Given off.
But its back to work on Monday. Sigh.
I'm in the holiday mood already.

    November 26

The night before, laopo wanted to meet me after her dinner with her friends.
She said she wanted to see me.
But she had to travel quite far and it was late.
And the last time something like this came about, it wasn't possible to travel to tamp.
So I kinda knew what she really wanted other than to see me.

    Bleah.

    Her present.

I told her she won't get it till the day itself.
But I bet she was eager to find out what it was. haha

Met her at TM at 9 plus cause she wanted to buy something first before going over to my place.

    But I made her wait.
    Hehe.
I told her that I'll only give her her present after 12. =x

Her mum spoilt my plan though. She said it was too late. Damn.

In the end, I gave her at 11 plus instead.

And I bet no one, not in a million years can guess what's the present.
Unless its a lucky guess that is.

    I bought for her a.....
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    HAMSTER!

    So cute right!!!

Wuahahaha. Its so cute and furry and cuddly!
I bought it with the cage and the bits and parts which make up the cage.

When I showed her her present, she was in shock. =O
Cause her mum would never allow a hamster.
    Opps.
I knew it, but I tried my luck.
    Guess what!
After I send her back, her mum didn't react the way I thought she would.
On contrary, she was quite open to the idea of the hamster staying. ( I think, I pray, I hope)
    hahaha.

After setting everything up for her and making sure everything was ok, I left the present in her care for the rest of the hamster's life.

And now it has a name!
    Its called....
    NIBBLES!

The next morning, I woke up at 6 so I could surprise laopo at SK inter.
Bathed and left my house early so I won't be late.
She thought I would meet her at Raffles Place at 9.
She had a job interview at 9.30 there see. haha
When I reached the mrt station, she wasn't there yet. So I waited and continued messaging her.
    Guess what.
    After a few messages...
She said she was on the train already.
    hahaha.
    Damn funny.
I quickly boarded the next train and asked her to alight at the next stop. =x

    So much for surprises huh.
I swear I didn't see her tap in at the gantry.
She must have teleported in! hmmm...

We headed for Raffles Place and came to a place called the AIA Building.
Sadly, I couldn't follow her up due to tight security, so I waited for her downstairs.
And we were half an hour early!
I ended up walking to some cafe near the mrt to sit and get a drink.

I waited for a while and poof! She already had her interview which lasted for 5minutes or less.
And she got the job. hahaha
They must really need people. hehe. jkjk! =x

We then headed to Harbourfront, to a place called... Vivo.

I bet you don't know where it is.

    La la la.

    =x

While walking to vivo, we saw this....

and we couldn't resist taking a picture with it. wuahaha

Walked around Vivo for a while, looking at shops and we headed for the open to take some pictures!

    She loves doing that =x

    My pet reindeer.

    Sayang sayang.

    Nice nice! (:

    Guess what she's copying!

Now guess what I'm copying! =x

And this? I'm muscle man! wuahaha =x

Calm waters and clear blue skies are perfect.

    Plus her, heaven.

    Random shot!

    Quick say its nice!

    Emo-ing! =x

    =)

After walking around vivo for a while more, we took the Sentosa Express over to a lovely sunny island called...

    Sentosa.

I came about a nice place to eat while doing my planning which I started thinking a few months ago. I thought long and hard. Ideas came, ideas went. I didn't have a clue. What to do what to do.
I knew I had to plan something memorable and nice but I didn't know how. hahaha. Opps.

We alighted at Beach Station and headed for the place to have our lunch.

After walking in a direction for a while, I wasn't quite sure where it was so I consulted.....

    The map! hahaha

Luckily for me, *phew* we were walking in the right direction. It was only a few steps away from this map above. YAY!

    Hungry hungry.

The place of interest for the moment is called Cafe del Mar. Pity I didn't take a photo of the entrance though. It was kinda grand standing out on the beach. hahaha

The place was quite empty when we arrived cause it was still early so we could choose where we wanted to sit.

Looking at the menu, we soon placed our orders.

She had the Fettuccine Champignon (wth) while I had the Escalope Salmon. I bet you don't know what food she is having. hahaha

For drinks, she had the watermelon juice and me a glass of apple juice.

    Our drinks!

    They served cocktail and alcohol.

And our table overlooked the pool.

    YAWN!! =x

And the food arrived! This is mine.

And this is hers. Its pasta. Yummy pasta.

    Looks yummy?

    Cheese!

    Candid!

    BURPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

    So full la.

We sat down for awhile before leaving to get changed into something more comfortable. I bet the people there must think we're crazy people, wearing shirt and dress. hahaha. don't care. =x

Strolled back to the station, looking for a top on the way there for her as she brought black. I didn't tell her we were going to the beach. =x

Even after changing, she was still feeling hot and bothered and all. very sian. Sigh. So much for planning huh. She looked like she didn't enjoy anything one bit. I can tell you, planning isn't easy, its hard. And when someone you plan for shows you some black face and a sian attitude every answer given was a no you wouldn't feel good at all too. You'll feel horrible and unappreciated.

Well. Thats why I hate to plan. Cause you won't know if the other party would enjoy or take to what is planned.

We sat at the sentosa luge and skyride place for a while and decided to just take the skyride up to where the tiger tower is.

Luckily, her mood improved a bit. haha.

    The view from above.

    She look like hamster! wuahaha

    I kinda like this picture.

    James Bond wannabe! =x

    We're
    going
    down
    down
    down
    down
    down
    down!

    Stylo Milo Containo

When we alighted, we straight away headed for the shops to enjoy some much needed aircon. The weather was scorching.

And we kinda played around with hats on sale. hehe

I'mma little teapot short and stout!

I'm a farmer. You can call me Mr Farmer.

    What did you call me?!

She has a flower on her head!

After walking around for a while, we walked to the bus stop to take a bus to Palawan beach.

    While waiting for the bus.

    Funny faces!

    =O

And the bus arrived! We took the blue line bus.

    Whats that outside!

    She's yawning again. awwww.

    Now she's sleeping!

    Or not..... hahaha.

After alighting at the station, we took a tram to the beach side. We're both lazy people, we don't wanna walk.

And we headed for the Sourthernmost Point Of Continental Asia.

Before that, we walked around in a shop nearby first to look for a top.
We saw a nice singlet but sadly, they didn't have my size. I wanted to get for her though so she wouldn't feel so hot but she didn't want. awww.. we then went to get a slurpie from 7-11.

Crossing the bridge to the towers!

On the way up, there were alot of children from some kindergarden and they took control of one tower. hahaha. no la. they were having some excursion and we happened to climb the same steps as them. They were super duper noisy eh!

    =)

OMG. look at where the tongue is! =x

    Peek-a-boo!

She tou pai me! So horrible. hahaha

So I did the same to her. Hahaha. no la. we posed. She's spiderwoman!

Join this picture /\ and this picture \/ and you'll get both of us swinging around. =x

    Cheese!!

I'mma monkey. I love climbing, eating bananas and picking my nose.

Bell boy to the rescue! We shifted a level higher.

    Love. <3

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Look! there's a monkey on that tree! nah. just kidding.

    (:

After taking millions of photos enough to scare anybody, we headed to the highest level and sat there looking at the scenery. And we kinda fell asleep. Or planned to. Hahaha. With the cool, breezy wind blowing and almost no one who would disturb us at all, it was nice to just fall asleep in each other's arms. So we did.

For an hour or so. Don't know. Didn't keep track of time.

We decided to leave when the sky got darker.

Look at the sky here and look at the sky below. Worlds apart right.

On the way to the tram stop, we saw a peacock strut across the road and she wanted to take a picture with it. However, it had other ideas. It almost walked into a beach bar but stopped short from entering.

The closest she could get with the peacock. hahaha

We then took the tram to the Beach Station heading back to vivo.

In the morning, she wanted to eat mango sticky rice but the place wasn't open. So we headed for it once we reached back at vivo.

Proof of our trip to sentosa on her birthday! wuahaha

The almost finished mango sticky rice!

After consuming the sticky mango rice, mango sticky rice, rice sticky mango, it was still early to join her family for dinner so we went to get changed and I suggested a movie, she was open to it.

    The Hamster's #1 Fan. hahahaha

I'm trying to steal it home.

We caught the 630 show for Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

As it was still early, she wanted to look at clothes for her job the next day so we walked around going shop by shop which has the word SALE on the outside.

At close to 630, we slowly made our way to the theatre for the movie.

Funny dogs. Shan't elaborate on the show. Don't wanna be a spoiler. Go watch yourself. hahaha

After the movie, we waited for her parents to come extract us from the area so we walked around somemore. And she got her mummy to find us just to buy a dress. tsk tsk. haha! =x

    And we were off!

    Destination unknown.

    To me that is.

We ended up in a place called Ghim Mo or something which her parents said sold delicious crab.
Her brother and his girlfriend joined us soon after.

    We had crab!

The food came quite fast. I suspect it was the time. I had a feeling that they were about to close very very soon. hahaha

Her mum ordered chilli crab, cereal prawns, small fried squid, teriyaki chicken, mantou, tau hu, some veggie and a fried dish which I have no clue what it was (but its nice).

After dinner, they wanted to go to some park but when we reached the carpark, it was raining so her dad u-turned back. And the road there and back was long and winding. Just like a trip up to genting.

We ended up at a void deck and after a few attempts of lighting the candles, we finally managed to get it all lighted. The wind was super duper strong see. hahaha

    Her birthday cake!

After singing the birthday song, they alighted her brother's gf at her place before sending me back. That concludes the 26 of November 2008. Hahahaha..

    Happy Birthday Laopo!
Hope you kinda enjoyed yourself after all the planning. hahaha =x
    Love you :)

    14 November 2008

    FRIDAY
    14 NOVEMBER 2008

Days just pass fast don't they.
    So does months.
    9 months to be exact.

In a flash, a bright beautiful flash, 9 months spent with her has passed like that.
The good times... and the bad times.
    Ups and downs.
Part and parcel of every relationship.
And still, till today, we're together as one. :)
With more days, months, years to come.
    Many many more.

With her exams finishing with just one more paper to go, we can look forward to more outings without thinking of the word study!

And she can come over more often =x

I took half day leave off camp so I could meet her earlier without her having to wait after her exams so right after her exams, she walked over to t-mart to meet me. hehe

I made for her something. Shan't reveal. Glad she likes it though. :)

Took 28 and changed to 7.

Couldn't use the car cause mum was using. Damn. hahaha.

But bus rides with her are fun!
So I don't mind long journeys if she's there.

    Guess where we were going!

    7..

    Past Bugis..

    Past Douby Ghaut..

    Pass the botanical gardens..

To a lovely place called Dempsey!

We almost missed the stop and the bus driver overshot the bus stop too. Kinda press the bell late =x
And I guess everyone on the bus was staring at us for that inconsiderate act.
    Wuahahaha.
    Don't care.

A long long long time ago, like millions of years ago, we came to know of this place which serves cheese and chocolate fondues as its main courses and we agreed to check it out.

The name of the place is called La Fondue.

But till the day before today, we have never tasted what the served.

We went once but they were closed so we settled on B&Js nearby and we were too full for the cheese fondue after that.

    But today's different!

    We timed our entrance perfectly.
(Actually it was luck, her paper ended and we just took the bus down. wuahaha [ You didn't see this])

When we reached the place after a walk up the hill, or slope. Whatever it is. It was close to 6.10pm. (They start feeding hungry starving humans at 6pm hence the wonderful timing.)

We could choose where we wanted to sit cause the first customers of the day was... none other than us!

Taking the menu, we scanned through the types of cheese fondues they served and settled on the Meaty Cheese Fondue which had the most meat compared to the other choices.

    While waiting for our food...

We played around with our phone cameras.

    And took lots of pictures.

But most of them are in her phone. So I just uploaded the ones I have.

    And

    .
    .
    .
    .
    PRESENTING

    THE MEATY CHEESE FONDUE!

The liquid in the pot is the fondue.
Bowl at the top contains bread.
Plate at the bottom has sausages, broccolis, carrots, potatoes and asparagus.

    Tadah! The fondue!

    The devil's forks!
We made use of it to eat our meal =x

The bread alone tastes like any other bread.
But when its dipped into the fondue, its..
    nothing.
    short.
    of.
    wonderful.

    Getting ready to attack!!

I sneaked a picture of her. wuahaha

We finished one pot.. but we still had some more food left.
    So we ordered another. =x
An additional pot of fondue alone costs 15 bucks. *gasps!*

We were trying the picture in picture effect. But this is a failed attempt. Looks kinda cool though =x

    Successful attempt 1!

Successful attempt number 2! I like this!

Unconsciously, she was poking a devil fork into my nose.
    OUCH.
    ouch ouch ouch! =x

Now she's going for my lungs!

I sneaked this picture again. hehe =x

New in the market, never seen before.. the cheese fondue lipstick!
Use it to see improved results in feeding yourself when you're hungry.
You just need to lick your lips!
    In stores now.

I seriously have no idea what's going on here.

    I love her.

    I really do. :)

And she turned into a ninja after learning that ninjas get 50% discount off the total bill.

So I turned into one too!
Sadly they saw through our disguise and presented us with the bill including service charge and GST. Damn them.

    HAIIIIIIIIYAAAAAAAAAA!

The bill came up to a grand total of $74.15!

48 for the main course and 15 for the top up. 10 bucks went to everywhere.

Guess what's she's trying to take a picture of!

Its this! We couldn't take a picture of it from afar but she found out that you could see the words if taken up close. Ya la ya la, smart. hehe

Nice picture? I think its nice. Bleah.

    A haunted house!

No la. Its just vacant at the moment.

Smile. Cause I have her and she has me.

    Say its artistic. =x

    The other various restaurants.

    The dark and quiet road.

It was only 7 plus 8 so we decided to walk a bit more to take some more pictures.

And we came to the fountain!

    Paradise Found.

Its like she's calling the stars ain't it. I took it! And I like this picture too. Wuahaha!

After checking out a shop there, we decided to walk back to catch a bus back.
Albeit taking more pictures on the way but its all in her phone. Shall upload when she sends me!
    I'm waiting! hehe

Took 7 and as it passed orchard, we hada sneak preview of the lights for Christmas.

    Beautiful.

We then took the train back to her place.
Watched the channel 8 show before turning to ghost whisperer which was followed by the survivor.

And I left at around 1130.

    That was it.
My wonderful day spent with her.
    And I loved every moment.
    Loving every moment spent.

For all the happy moments we share, and still sharing.
Thanks for holding on, through the bad times we scraped through.
You're the only one I need, the only one I want.
I love you laopo, Theo Cheryl, Cheryl Theo. :)

    Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 10:27 PM

Haven't I been there when you want me to?
Days in a row you have seen me at your place.
    Accompanying you.
But today, when I wanted to rest, you have to do this.
    You just had to.
What's wrong with staying home today?
    I didn't say I wasn't coming over again did I.
I told you before that I can't be at your place everyday.
    You said you understand.
    Or did you.
If you did, what happened today wouldn't happen.
You are always talking about leaving.
    Every single time.
Don't I mean anything to you anymore?
Do you even treasure me in the first place.
Do you even care if I'm here or not.
Do you take this relationship that we share seriously.
Why on earth do you keep mentioning that you want out?
You know how much it hurts every time you mention it.
    Do you?
Or maybe you really just want to.
    Sigh.
