Well. I'm finally typing my first post after a very long, long, long.. long, long.. long time. Been quite "busy". lols. No la. I'm juz plain LAZY to blog. Actually, i also donno y i haf decided to blog now. eh. *thinks* .. nvm. shall continue. X)Last week, which was April da 10th that week, the principal had gone bonkers by putting speech day and sports day side by side. siao 1 leh. Some more bothe days got duty. i didn't like the speech day duty. it sucked. had to wear this kuku looking costume which look like it was meant for girls. need to sae more? Compared to sports dae, i would prefer to do sports day duty 100 times more than speech day. really. haha.. sports day was fun although we had to attend school in the morning... yah. school in the morning. see. the P really gone bonkers. when we reached jurong stadium, it was drizzling (Louis and me were singing in the bus all the way there). that was what louis wanted. haha.. nvm la. the rain actually made our dae more enjoyable. it blocked off the hot sun, the sun rays and all. somemore it cooled the place down so i look at it as a blessing in disguise. hehe.. after the student leaders settled the students down and got them organised, we started to get them to cheer. they were not co-operating and we lost the cheering title to dunman high i think. didnt bother to listen coz i noe we sure lose 1. only we, the student leaders and some minority of students cheered our peers on. They MISSED out on all the fun. the excitement. the feeling. seriously. it was so enjoyable. haha.. heck. its over and will be the last sports day for me at TMS. After that, we, the sec 4 and 5 councillors, went to jurong east to eat. i think its jurong east. near IMM there.. haha.. Long John Silver was our main destination due to the lack of funds.. but it was somehow affordable and good. after me and louis finished our meals, before everyone else, we started shooting ice at audrey shermaine and michelle.. haha.. the others were too far to aim for.. X) than audrey was like kenna the most from louis. it was damn funny.. should have taken a video.. hmm.. didnt think of that.. haha.. after every1 finished their meal, we went take neo prints. some left while we were still eating but we still had a lot of pple to squeeze inside the machine. we somehow managed to do it. haha.. after that we took our time to edit the pixs. so fun lor.. haha... when we left the place it was already 9.30 le. 45 mins to reach tanah merah. sian. lols. Good Friday was after sports dae. 1 dae to rest. actually. 3. sat and sun too.. hehe.. Sunday played for SGX United with my tms cup game in mind. We played at Tanjong Katong Sec. The place somehow has became our main place to play. our home ground we now call it.. haha.. We played against an accounting firm's team by the name of PWC. they had a british player within their midst and he proved to be the catalyst of our loss. he was their star defender, clearing any ball into space and never once fail to connect with a header to deny our strikers a stiff at the goal. We were 2-0 down by half-time. not a score to be impressed upon and they scored their 3rd just after the restart due to some woeful defending on our part. Even thought I knew that i had a match the next day, it was hard not to go all out in the game. Always put in 100% were the words i heeded and i was dead tired after being replaced. We finally pulled 1 back through a penalty earned against the british. too strong for his own good were the thoughts revolving in my mind. No mistake from the spot but that was to be the last goal of the game. Somehow a consolation for us. It started to pour like nobodys business when i juz entered the car. we were thankful for that. X) Monday. 17th April. The date of our first TMS Cup match. Our opponents were 3S. The organisers somehow managed to play us for their first match. Nobody wanted to play us. We were too skillful for them to handle. The match was set for 3pm. As our homework time has been put on hold, we had to wait for about an hour or two for our match. It started raining and we prayed that it was just a passing cloud, depositing all its water and move on. It was. although it lasted for quite a while. It made the field a bit muddy but still in playable condition. When it was 3, we were all ready and waiting, anxious to start as the dark clouds loomed over our heads, threatening to release all its contents on us. Finally. the match started after much shouting at the 3S players to get their asses to the field. We started off brightly. attacking Zul's goal but we lacked our usual flair. Mahdi was off form and we were not scoring. It was Charles who finally broke the unusually long deadlock after Fadzli sent it an inch perfect cross from the right wing. one - nil! Another long pause in goals until mahdi started to dribble just outside the penalty area. He went for goal but somehow adam managed to show magnificent control and fired the ball to the other side of the keeper to send him the wrong way. 2-0! Charles finally added a 3rd just before half time to give us a 3 goal advantage. Just when we were about to head back for the field after the 1 min half time, it started to rain heavily as lightning streaked across the sky dangerously. We were forced to wait till the rain subsided before we could start the 2nd half. that was a half hour wait. At first we thought that the match was abandoned due to the bad weather but the persuasive side of us made the game continue. It stopped raining a while after the restart and we were delighted. Arvind replaced the off form mahdi while adam was replaced by Zul and Khalee replaced Fadzli. We were going for our goal. Double digits. That was our goal. Not just to win the match. The game restarted off brightly with a flurry of goals from arvind and charles but alas. I was trying to score when my left leg muscle pulled. Knowing that without going down play would continue, i sat down and tried to bear the pain. It was excruciating! I was helped to the sidelines by Singh and we played with 6 men before i rejoined the game. I was still in pain and i could not run so i shifted my position to last man, cutting off any attack as far as possible. My muscle was still very tight as zul scored our 9th goal in the game. We were facing not more than 3 mins to score our last goal which would send us into double digits. Cheering us on were our die hard fans who stood in the rain under umbrellas, motivating us as well as to keep our goal in our minds. We were on the attack with arvind trying his usual antics to try dribble past the whole team but he was tackled and the ball fell to Zul. The only thought that went through his mind was to pull the trigger and he did just that. Standing just outside the right side of the penalty area, he put in all his strength and shot. The ball was struck with such venom that even after taking a small deflection, it still flew past the goal keeper and sent us all into 7th heaven. We had achieved our goal! the feeling was contagious. All of us were celebrating even before the match ended. There was still enough time for another goal but we just could not find the back of the net any more. The final whistle was blown and we were all estatic. We kept a clean sheet and got our goal tally to double digits! Our goals were achieved. The goals set for the next match is excatly the same. X) Well. I've finally blogged after so long. haha.. lol.
